Several Area Businesses Ready to Hire at the Pearland Job Fair on September 29th
Pearland, Texas — The Pearland Economic Development Corporation (PEDC) is collaborating with the Pearland Chamber of Commerce and Workforce Solutions Pearland Career office to host a job fair to be held on Thursday, September 29th from10am to 2 pm at the Pearland Recreation Center, 4141 Bailey Road, Pearland TX 77581.The event will feature close to 50 employers from 11 industries including manufacturing, healthcare, construction, government, hospitality, automotive, education, administrative, transportation, insurance and more. Businesses that have committed to attend the fair include Lonza, Endress+Hauser, Kelsey-Seybold, Burns and McDonnell, City of Pearland, Aggreko, Emerson, Third Coast Terminals, Kemlon, Hilton Garden Inn, Marriott, Keating Toyota, Alvin Community College, Waffle House, Dover Precision Components, Brask Inc, Allied Fire Protection and Portable Air.
“We have received a tremendous response from the community and look forward to creating some lasting career connections,” according to Mou Sarkar, Workforce Director, PEDC.
Available job openings range from Process and Field Technicians, Construction Workers, HVAC Technicians, Welders, Machinists, Customer Service and Sales, Healthcare Workers, Drivers and Warehouse Workers to Project Managers, Professional Staff, and engineers.
Interested candidates should come ready to interview and bring copies of their resumes. The Job Fair is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged but not required. On-site registration will be available the day of the event. Candidates attending on-site will have a chance to win a variety of door prizes, get connected to community career resources and an opportunity to meet quality employers ready to hire.
